Failure is not fatal. Our God redeems and works His message from our messes. This is easy to say when life is going well. This is harder to say when we're suffering from isolation and shame because of a public failure.
Divorce is one of the most public and shame-filled failures in our culture, especially our Christian culture. The church (including pastors) often fail to engage and love those suffering the grief of divorce. Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we desire to do better at CGLCS.
Read John 4:1-30, the story of the Samaritan woman at the well. You'll be encouraged. Jesus meets us and loves us at the well of our failures.
